Jens Heitland

Human Innovator

Innovation doesn't come from better systems. It comes from humans who dare to try.

You make the difference.

I started my career on a construction site in Germany.

Not in a boardroom. Not in a university. On my knees, wiring buildings, watching how people behave when nobody important is looking.

That curiosity about humans never left me. It took me from Deutsche Bank to IKEA, from local technician to Global Head of Innovation, across countries, cultures, and boardrooms on five continents.

And then one evening I sat with my daughter listening to old radio recordings of my father's voice.

He had passed away that year. And as I listened, I realized most of what he knew, most of what he had learned and lived and understood, was gone.

That moment changed everything.

Long form conversations with leaders who put humans at the center of how they build, decide, and innovate. Not theory. Real experience from people who have done it at scale.

Short daily reflections on leadership, human behavior, and what it actually takes to stay relevant in a world that is changing faster than most organizations can handle.

Everything I have learned about humans, leadership, and what makes people truly effective.

I built a company around one specific application of it.

CEOs are the most underleveraged humans in any organization. They carry decades of experience, judgment, and wisdom that the world never gets to see.

Heitland Media Group exists to change that.
